So today I hit another milestone, and when you are a new mum, every single thing is considered a milestone and should be acknowledged, by you most of all.
If you washed your hair today, tick, youβre nailing it.
If you wore something other than your pjβs, woah, killing it.
If you actually slept when the baby slept, um, you are certainly leveling up.
If you ate three meals, got out of the house, returned a phone call, or caught up with a friend, then you deserve a high-five.
More importantly, if you did not get out of your pajamas, if you did not wash your hair, if you skipped a shower, ate a loaf of bread, skulled a glass of wine and allowed yourself to accept the day for what it was, then you my Mumma, have still reached a milestone.
Take the day if you need it, seize the day if you so choose. Accept it for what it is and move on to the next day, the next milestone.

P.s three minutes into finally getting Evander to latch on to my not so discreet breast, it started raining and I had to stop. π€¦π½ββοΈ
I still class it as a win though πͺπ½.
