With my very first newspaper column officially out today, I’m feeling full as a bull (modest much?).

As the article announces, this is not a sex and the city column and I’m no Carrie Bradshaw, but that doesn’t mean the tiny town of Roxby has to miss out on some spunk (pun not intended).
For the last six months or so I’ve been providing the Roxby Chronicle a monthly book review, just a little taste of my two passions fused; Reading and writing.
So when the opportunity to have my very own column presented itself (in the form of me asking if I can have one), I went for it. (Good on me).
It’s just a snippet. It’s just a few words on a singular topic each month. It’s an attempt at keeping the life stuff light, a reminder to give ourselves a break or try seeing if the grass is greener on the other side; if scooping the fly is better than throwing the wine (it is).
My creative plate is piling up and feeding my soul.
How’s your plate stacking up?
